Hello and welcome to my website. This is a place where I can showcase some of my portfolio of photographic work and also to share my love for Rubik Cubes and all related cubing puzzles. I wanted to have a space online just to share a few bits and pieces connected to my interest in such puzzles and so rather than create a whole new website, I thought I could include some space here on my photography website.
Photography is another huge interest of mine although I hardly have much opportunity to take images as I used to. However I still have lots of pictures to share here. I started getting seriously into photography in 2004 when I upgraded my film camera and entered the digital world. I mainly take pictures of natural history, fungi, insects, equines, pets, macro work and many more subjects.
In recent years I have particularly enjoyed equirectangular and stereographic projection images in which a series or images are combined together to form a 360 degree image that can be morphed into tiny planets. I also enjoy using Photoshop to recreate some of my images in the style of traditional photographic techniques such as pinhole and Daguerre plates.
I am a Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society and have had several images published in various places over the years. I also have a huge love for all thing geometric and mathematical which means I sometimes turn my images into mathematical works of art – you can see some in my “Pano Art” gallery.
